BRAND NEW RESOURCE

The latest addition to Key Word Sign Australia (formerly known as Makaton Australia) resources is a handy little AFL Footy Book full of Key Word signs. As you can see by the attached page the graphics are all drawn by none other than myself. Love the fact that they still believe in drawn graphics as they are much clearer than photos and can be photo copied and blown up bigger for people with vision problems.

Now onto this book. it contains  a large number of signs covering all the AFL teams 'sign' names; signs needed to describe parts of the game as it is in progress; food and drinks that can be consumed while at the game and more. Its all contained in a lovely compact 15cm x 10.5cm book, spiral bound.

Signs covering food and drinks have lovely colour photos of the food or drink being represented and in most instances only 2 signs to a page.

I would say the only downfall is the cover - its too flimsy and I dont see it lasting long so I would be looking at putting some kind of protective cover on it. Hopefully 'Key Word sign Australia' will take that little bit of criticism into account and improve on the cover soon.

I would give them top marks for this book. Lots of thought has gone into it and Ella has done a wonderful job as usual.
